Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. As a child, she was exposed to lots of classical music and traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16, under the direction of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a scholar and professional. After moving to the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions and performs classical Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to various community-based projects because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to bring to others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations preserve the traditions.
