Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Involved in the margins of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she has also delved into different styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player of great talent, described her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim when her debut album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. It earned an award from an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She collaborated with many performers and musicians including Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami, Rosalia's album that was awarded the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to have an award for Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
